Chinese Astrology — BaZi & the Four Pillars
Your animal sign, your element, and the four pillars of your destiny — the Chinese system of fate calculation.
Four pillars, one destiny map
BaZi (八字), the Four Pillars of Destiny, is China's classical system of fate calculation — more than two thousand years old. Your birth moment is converted into four pairs of characters called stems and branches. The year pillar holds your roots and ancestry, the month pillar your career and early life, the day pillar your self and marriage, and the hour pillar your children, dreams and later years. Each pillar carries one of the five elements — Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water — and reading how they generate and control one another reveals your life's rhythm: when luck rises, when it rests, and where your natural strengths lie.
Ancestry and early roots — the era you were born into.
Career path and parents — your working life and youth.
The self and marriage — who you are at the core.
Children, dreams and later years — your legacy.
